You don’t need to know what you’re asking for. Most families don’t. Tell me what’s happening in your own words and I’ll take it from there.

None of this is required to call me. It just makes our first conversation go faster if you happen to have it:

• What daily life looks like right now. What your person can still do on their own, and where they need help.
• Where you’d like them to be. A town, a neighborhood, or just how far from you.
• Any deadline you’re working against. A hospital discharge date is the most common one.
• A rough budget range. An approximate number is genuinely fine, and knowing it early keeps us from touring places your family can’t sustain.
• Who else is part of the decision. Siblings, a spouse, a power of attorney.

Please keep medical records and detailed health information out of texts and email. Bring those to our conversation instead — it’s a safer place for them, and I’d rather hear it from you directly.
